Join us for “Music for the Mind” on Thursday, November 12th, a special evening bringing the music community together to support mental health awareness and the SIMS Foundation.
Streaming online from Arlyn Studios from 6 to 10 pm, this virtual event features performances covering a variety of genres interwoven with personal stories as artists share their connections to mental health and the important work of the SIMS Foundation. Ticket holders will receive a link to our private YouTube stream.
This annual event offers the opportunity to show support for the music industry that has been devastated by the pandemic. With our live music venues shuttered since March, many of those we serve are unable to afford mental health care in a time when it’s so critical. By purchasing a ticket and attending the virtual event, you can help make a difference for our music industry!
Hosted by musician, producer, and mental health advocate Joe Barksdale, the evening will celebrate the healing power of music and highlight the life-supporting work of SIMS in the music community. Join SIMS and our partners Arlyn Studios, Austin FC, and Deep Eddy Vodka.
For 25 years, the SIMS Foundation has been a music industry trailblazer, bringing holistic mental health care and substance use recovery support to musicians, music industry professionals, and their dependent family members.
Music for the Mind is an opportunity to give back to the music community and enjoy a great show at the same time!
Purchase a commemorative t-shirt along with your ticket! Thanks to Austin FC, all proceeds from t-shirt sales will go to support the important work SIMS Foundation does to deliver key resources to the music community.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for t-shirts to be delivered.
