About the instructor: Michelle Gleeson
Michelle is a co-founding CEO at Kaleida, a community builder, and executive leader in technology. Through her long career from software developer to CTO she has worked hard to make the tech industry more equitable, with a mission to get more women into leadership positions. This has led her to first founding the Tech Leading Ladies group, and then her startup Kaleida: building a software platform that removes systemic barriers to promotion faced by women in technology.
About the instructor: Susan Brander
Susan is the co-founding CTO at Kaleida, a start up passionate about bringing greater diversity, belonging and inclusion into the software industry. She has a history of leading teams that deliver cloud native platforms that balances the need to experiment and learn in an emerging market with the reliability expected of customer-focused systems. She believes in the importance of giving teams the domain and business context to enable informed technical decisions, while challenging them to improve their knowledge and core competencies over time. She is an agent of change who models and champions technology choices and practices that enable the delivery of customer value quickly and reliably. Susan also co-founded and is an organiser of Tech Leading Ladies in Melbourne, a group focused on bridging the gender gap in technical leadership.
