We are back! Very happy to present the second edition of IDENTITIES, Latin America film festival. We are celebrating LATIN AMERICA by way of independent cinema, dance, music and regional cuisine. The festival will take place on 23-24 July at Dulwich park and the big news is the festival is totally free!

The festival is supported by SOUTHWARK COUNCIL and is a brand new member of the Free Film Festivals family. We will again pay tribute to LATINX WOMEN for a whole weekend with a competition of exciting Latin American short films, exploring diversity and cultures to shine a light on the Latino community. Prizes include 2 Audience Awards to be delivered on the closing night.

We are teaming up again  with FEMME FRONTERA, a Mexican touring film fest, sharing films which challenge current narratives about gender roles, LGBTQ , immigrants and other communities. Each day there will be a pop up cinema in the middle of the park where people can get seated and enjoy a full immersion into the world of cinema.

Prior to each screening we have a special mask making workshop with Valerio Oliveira , afterwards a Latin American DANCE WORKSHOP will engage families and children with folk dancing. Caporales Mi Viejo San simon will dance a Bolivian folk dance on Saturday and Fraternidad Haraganes will dance an Amazonas folk dance on Sunday.

Our amazing FOOD STALLS: LIQUI LIQUI - Venezuelan Deli & Artisan Cheeses and the Brazilian BBQ specialists,  Fine Cut Butchers  will serve delicious cuisine & drinks throughout the event.The event is free but you need to register here!
