SPAAFCC Biennial Suicide Prevention Conference. Hope in Action: Preventing Suicides in Black Faith Communities

The SPAAFCC Biennial Suicide Prevention Conference will offer a variety of general sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities to connect with other mental health professionals. 

Topics include:

• Creating Inclusive Faith Communities
• Historical Impact of Trauma
• L.E.T.S. Save Lives Training
• Mental Health and Older Adults
• Self-Care
• Understanding Opioid Use and Its Impact on Suicide in Black Communities
• Veterans and Suicide

Due to the recent increase in COVID and other illnesses in Nashville, we are encouraging participants to protect themselves and others by staying home if you have symptoms, taking extra measures for hygiene, and wearing a mask if possible. None of these recommendations are required, however, we want to do our best to ensure this conference is safe and enjoyable for all involved.
