Sudani Refugee Relief Fundraiser

Join us for the Sudani Refugee Relief Fundraiser on Sat Aug 10 2024 at 6:00 PM at 401 26th St, Oakland. Let's come together for a night of food, music, and community dedicated to celebrating the Sudanese diaspora while doing our part to support volunteers on the ground working to alleviate the intense refugee crisis in the region. 

This fundraiser will directly support two civil society organizations in Sudan

• Save AlGineina Initiative: Sudanese-led volunteer initiative operating only health clinic at Adre refugee camp in Eastern Chad
• Barana Hanabneiho: Youth NGO created after 2019 revolution working with local volunteers to provide direct mutual aid across Sudan

Additionally, we will also be providing direct aid to a family of 6 children, aged 2-17, who lost both of their parents and are now living with their aunt.

Please bring cash day of for food, raffle tickets, and other goodies! We will also accept Venmo payments and Zelle.
