Description
Making ink from crushed oak galls, this online workshop will give you the opportunity to make your own iron gall ink, based on traditional medieval recipes. After signing up for this workshop, you will receive a special ink making kit in a presentation box through the post. The exercise will also require standard kitchen equipment. You will also receive a link to the instructional video, allowing you to do the workshop at home at a time convenient to you. There is a forum on teachingmanuscripts.com for participants to chat and post their progress.
You will be asked to supply your address when purchasing tickets, so that the ink making kit can be posted to you.
