The Slow Cyclist X The Grange with Imad's Syrian Kitchen
Thu 5 Sep 2024 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
The Grange Vineyard & Winery, Hampshire, SO24 0QW
Description
A celebration of Syrian cuisine in aid of Action Syria, hosted by The Slow Cyclist and The Grange.
Join us at The Grange's winery for a Syrian feast prepared by Imad Alarnab of Imad's Syrian Kitchen. We'll enjoy drinks among the vines before a three-course meal in the winery. Throughout the evening, we'll be joined by speakers and the teams behind The Slow Cyclist, The Grange and Action Syria.
We'll hear Imad's compelling story that saw him fleeing war-torn Damascus, sharing his cooking skills with fellow refugees, and opening his highly acclaimed London restaurant.
This is a one-off opportunity to support a wonderful charity while eating delicious food and sampling exceptional still and sparkling wines from The Grange.
What to expect
Thursday 5th September
6pm: arrival
6.15pm: drinks in the vineyard, sampling The Grange's award-winning wines.

Overnight & The Next Day
If you'd like to stay overnight we can help arrange accommodation at one of the properties at The Grange or at a nearby guest house.
The following morning, on Friday 6th September The Slow Cyclist founder Oli Broom and Sophie, Lady Ashburton, will be leading a (slow and electric) bike ride through the estate and wider countryside, with lunch in a lovely spot along the way. There is no limit to the number we can help with accommodation, but the bike ride and lunch will be limited to 12, just like on our trips ;)
If you would like to enquire about accommodation and / or the bike ride, please contact amanda@theslowcyclist.com. She will be able to provide details and pricing.
