COVID-19 Public Health Protocols

*Protocols subject to change as pandemic progresses*

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, those planning to attend the Tilth Conference in person this year at the Lynnwood Convention Center are expected to prioritize the health and safety of all attendees, as well as Convention Center staff, by agreeing to one of the following upon entering the venue:

  1. Show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, by providing a paper or electronic copy of your vaccination record card (a photo of your card on your phone is acceptable). Please note that “full vaccination” means that two weeks or more have elapsed since your single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or your second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna). Partially-vaccinated individuals (those who have only received a single dose in a two-dose series) should provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to entry at the venue.

  2. Show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to attending the event. Rapid-results testing is readily available at various locations throughout the region. Acceptable forms of proof include printed test results as well as an electronic copy, such as a photo or otherwise electronic record of your test results on your phone.

All attendees, regardless of vaccination and test status, are required to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth indoors throughout the Conference, with the understanding that masks may be removed while eating or drinking.

Any individual failing to comply with any of the above will not be admitted or allowed to remain at the Conference. Refund requests will be denied for anyone refused entry or expelled from the event for failure to follow basic public health precautions. If you know in advance that you will not be able to meet these requirements by 11/19/2021 for any reason, we advise you to purchase a virtual ticket instead.

COVID-19 Safety at the Lynnwood Convention Center

The health and safety of our community is our primary focus. The Lynnwood Convention Center and ASM Global, its management company, have taken great measures to ensure the well-being of all those who visit.

Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local government agencies, the Lynnwood Convention Center has created a Safe Re-Opening Plan, which includes:

Air Quality Improvements
Improvements to the Lynnwood Convention Center HVAC system include:

  • Increasing building outside air intake/air exchange rates during occupied event hours
  • Ongoing process of replacing HVAC air filters with higher efficiency MERV-13 filters.
  • Full exhaust of hanging interior air at the start and end of each day.

Increased Sanitation
The Lynnwood Convention Center has increased cleaning protocols and reduced touch points where possible. These measures includes hourly disinfection of high touch points such as door knobs, hand rails and event furniture, changes to our menus and food service and attendee flow.

Lynnwood Convention Center is GBAC STAR accredited through the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC), a division of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA). This accreditation is for responding to, and recovering from, biological threats, biohazard situations and real-time crises. To learn more about the GBAC Star facility accreditation, click here.
