Join the Nature Conservation Team for a guided stroll along the Roding Valley. This is the second in a 3-part walk series, exploring the length of the river and its surrounding green spaces throughout the seasons.

Starting at Ray Park in Woodford, we’ll head south along the River Roding to Wanstead, taking in the unmistakable signs of spring throughout the route. Find out about the amazing natural heritage of the river, as well as the modifications its undergone as a result of urban expansion.

This walk is one way, from Ray Park and ending at Wanstead Park. Lasting approximately 3 hours and is suitable for 7+ years. Unfortunately, some paths will be unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Those wishing to return back to Ray Park/Woodford Green are recommended to catch the bus back (W14) or leave enough time to walk back up along the River.
