Missouri City, TX (May 7-8 & 14-15, 2022) – War’Hous Visual Studios in partnership with Missouri City are both proud to bring a family-friendly art event to the neighborhood. This community–based exhibition aims to promote upcoming local artists and artisan businesses to attract the surrounding communities that we all serve. With safety guidelines in place by the CDC, we are now able to continue to bring back the star wars-themed art festival for its 10th-anniversary edition. For its first time, May the 4^th Art Festival will be a two-weekend back-to-back, all-inclusive experience for everyone to enjoy on the opening weekend of May 7-8, then closing out on the weekend of the 14-15, 2022!

May the 4^th Art Festival will showcase local artworks by adults and the youth, artisan vendors market, live DJ sets, food trucks, and cosplay for countless photo opportunities. For the past 10 years, War’Hous has been launching the most epic art exhibition dedicated strictly to the Star Wars saga. Annually, May the 4th Art Festival receives over 5,000 attendees, along with a slew of publications and media coverage including GlassTire, KPRC Channel 2, NewsFix Channel 39, Houston Press, and Houston Chronicle, just to name a few.

Working alongside with our gracious sponsors which include The WIDE School, Super Happy Incredible Toys, ADPAT Printing Co., Topo Chico, Saint Arnold’s Brewery, Dulce Vida, and White Cup Entertainment, we are able to create an eventful experience that will attract both young and adults that will deliver a nostalgic and fresh exposure to the audience. We will have tons of giveaways, shopping, entertainment, a photo booth, cosplayers, and child-friendly activities. The festival starts on May 7-8 (12-6 PM both days), and a closing reception on May 14-15 from 12-6 PM both days.
