Ticket Tailor offered the best value for money from all the ticketing platforms I looked at. It provides all the functions I was looking for and has made the process of running events far simpler than with our previous ticketing provider.

Ticket Tailor vs. Luma
Luma has won fans with its clean design and community features. If you're running bigger, busier, repeat or more complex events, here's how Ticket Tailor compares.
Flat fees, whatever your ticket price
Both platforms are free for free events. For paid events, the difference is how you're charged.
- Ticket Tailor: a low flat fee per ticket, from 22p, however much your tickets cost
- Luma: a 5% platform fee on the free plan, or $59 a month (billed annually, in US dollars) for Luma Plus
- Both: card processing is charged separately

Talk to your audience without send limits
Luma charges on top of their plan prices to send emails to your attendees once you hit a limit. Here's how we compare
- Ticket Tailor: send free email broadcasts with no weekly send limit
- Ticket Tailor: integrate with Mailchimp for free to send marketing emails
- Luma free plan: up to 500 invites and newsletters a week
- Luma Plus: up to 5,000 a week, with paid add-ons beyond that

Seating, products and memberships
Luma works well for straightforward events. Here's where Ticket Tailor goes further.
- Reserved seating: build a seating chart that buyers click to choose their own seats (Luma has no native seating charts)
- Sell products, memberships and add-ons alongside tickets (not a core part of Luma)
- More advanced ticket rules for complex events

Tracking and branding on your terms
If you're paying to promote your events, you need to know what's working, and you want your brand front and centre.
- Ticket Tailor: Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and GA4 tracking built in
- Luma: Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tracking are only available on Luma Plus
- Ticket Tailor: customise your event pages, embed checkout on your own website and white completely remove Ticket Tailor branding if needed.

Reviews from Event Creators on Capterra
The cost of Ticket Tailor compared to other event sites is amazing. I love the fact you buy the tickets, and then it doesn't matter what you're charging for your event. It's not a percentage taken, its a set fee.
We have been using them for several years now and have created 3 different seating charts with ease. They are responsive when you tell them about missing features.
The system does what we want and includes some valuable functionality that competitors lack, e.g. memberships and the ability to create associated products.
Ticket Tailor is straightforward to use and doesn't overcomplicate ticketing. Setup is fast, the interface is intuitive, and pricing is transparent without excessive per-ticket fees. It integrates well with existing workflows, gives us control over branding and customer data, and reliably handles both small and high-volume events without issues.
The customer support is excellent! The chat function works really quickly and they have been able to resolve all my issues so far.
