Do I need a ticketing platform?

In most cases it definitely makes sense to use a ticketing platform (especially when the fees are as low as ours 👋). If you’re running a very small, low-stakes event where tracking attendance doesn’t matter, you might be ok without one. But if you need to manage capacity, track sales, and send updates to ticket buyers, it’s a very wise move to use a ticketing platform.  Ticket Tailor gets used for events of all shapes and sizes – from local yoga classes to community festivals and pop-up pubs! Our transparent, low fees were designed to help you keep as much of your profits as possible. And you’ll benefit from way less admin, a beautiful online box office, and tools to grow your event community.

How much do ticketing platforms cost?

This varies – so it’s always important to look into exactly how much you’ll be paying before committing to anything. We can proudly say that our ticketing fees are the lowest on the market. You’ll pay £0.60 per ticket sold when you Pay As You Go – or even less if you buy credits in advance. Fees start from £0.22 when you buy in advance.  That’s it – just a simple flat fee per ticket. (Other ticketing platforms may charge a flat fee plus a percentage of your sales.) It’s worth noting that to be able to accept payments online, you’ll need a payment processor. They’ll charge a small payment processing fee to manage each transaction.In most cases ticketing platforms charge you on a per-ticket sale basis. Different platforms have different rates and in some circumstances you may pay additional fees to access certain features.
