B Corp Month: Collective action matters - Launch event in Helsinki

It is time for Nordic businesses to show leadership! Join us as we kick off B Corp Month in Helsinki with a dynamic conversation on how businesses can use their voices to change society.

For the first time, B Corps across the Nordics have come together to sign a collective letter calling on businesses and consumers to take action. In the letter, the B Corps explain why businesses contribute significantly to the climate and biodiversity crises, but are also the ones who can help build the solutions needed.

At this network event, you will learn from B Corps Lumene, Danone and Impact Agency Fabrik, in dialogue with Gitte Rosholm, Manager at B Lab Nordics, as they discuss values-driven leadership, activism, and taking a stand, even when it’s not easy.

You’ll also get new insights and inspiration on corporate activism and advocacy from Niklas Kaskeala, a climate activist and founder of Protect Our Winters Finland and The Activist Agency.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to connect with other Finnish B Corps, exchange ideas, share learnings, and grow your network.

Program - raise your voice:

• 10:00–10:15: Welcome and launch of the collective letter
• 10.15 -10.30: Talk by Niklas Kaskeala, founder of Protect Our Winters Finland and The Activist Agency.
• 10:30–11:15: Conversation with:
  Lilla Valori, Sustainability Specialist at Lumene
  Jonna Ekroos, Chief growth officer and Partner at Impact Agency Fabrik
  Henrika Peltola, Operations Sustainability Manager, Danone
  Gitte Rosholm, Manager, B Lab Nordics
• 11:15–12:00: Meet the B Corps: Get introduced to the other B Corps attending the event. A great chance to connect and network with the community!

This event is open for anyone interested in the B Corp movement, collective action and how businesses can continuously improve their social and environmental impact. A light snack, coffee and tea will be served.
