One of two films in the show, A Discreet Exit Through Darkness (51 minutes) uses a VR headset to immerse the viewer in the psychological torment experienced by the artist’s grandfather during the protracted search for his missing daughter.

The 360° VR film is watched through a headset and headphones while being seated in an comfortable gaming chair that incorporates head and armrests. Call buttons are installed on the side of the chairs, in case you require assistance during your viewing.
In addition to the photos installed around the exhibition space, the exhibition also includes a three-channel film, Things We Lost Last Night (2024), which can be viewed on a sofa or beanbag. This 59 minute work starts on the hour, every hour. The two films (VR and three-channel) can be watched in any order, but the VR work is considered the first of the two chapters.
Walk-in visitors will be able to view the the VR work if a headset is available at that time.
Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your booked headset time, we may allow another visitor to take your slot.
