In Bali the full moon is known to amplify your connection with your higher consciousness. Special ceremonies are performed to aid in this connection. For a limited time in Escondido, you can experience an ancient Balinese ceremony to purify your emotional body and connect with your highest consciousness. The ritual will be led by Ida Resi Alit, currently the world's youngest ever Balinese High Priestess and first to travel abroad to spread her message of compassion, love, family, and community. Find out first-hand why some of the world's most influential leaders and business people seek out Ida for guidance and discover new methods to connect to your higher self and a deeper purpose.
People of all backgrounds, faiths, creeds, and beliefs are invited to participate! Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the event.
*Light refreshments will be included with purchase! A farm fresh salad grown on-site and an elixir bar with agua frescas & kombucha.
At the Event:The blessing ceremony will start with a short introduction where you'll learn about Ida's story and why she's traveling followed by the ritual ceremony. The ceremony itself will be approximately 90 minutes long and involve deep guided meditation, chants in ancient languages, crystal bowl and bell vibrations, and a water blessing ceremony meant to cleanse your spirit. It will be unlike anything you've ever experienced in San Diego unless you've had the chance to travel to Bali and experience it first-hand.
About Ida: Ida is a true spiritual leader and inspiration to both her community of 300,000 in Bangli, Bali, and those she has met in her travels. As the youngest ever High Priestess of Hindu Dharma from Bali, the historic decision to ordain her as High Priestess on her 21st birthday in 2007 shattered thousands of years of traditions in the requirements for age, gender, caste, and academic training. She continues to push the boundaries by being the first of her status to travel abroad and outside of her local community to spread her message. Live Music:Joining us at this event will be some incredibly talented local artists, Gitanjali, Bri Shillings, and Jesus Gonzalez! Gitanjali is a Hindi word meaning 'a collection of songs or poems presented in a devotional manner.' Influenced by the raw, soulful sounds of folk, blues, & world music, Gitanjali (Ryder and Michelle Mackey) creates a hypnotic tapestry of lyric and imagery, reflecting the elemental and organic landscapes of life. Their repertoire includes original songs and compositions, as well as songs and chants from around the world. They create improvisational soundscapes with and eclectic musical ensemble including guitar, sitar, tablas, frame drum and other percussion, shakuhachi and bansuri bamboo flutes, charrango, and harmonium.
