Los Alamos MainStreet's 2023 Holiday Lights Parade: "Winter Around the World"

Los Alamos WinterFest Weekend celebrates winter in Los Alamos! Numerous businesses and organizations schedule events including ballets, bazaars, shows and sales.

The Holiday Lights Parade is the highlight of WinterFest Weekend, taking place Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 pm. This year's theme is "Winter Around the World"; please include the theme in your entry. Music and bright lights are encouraged, but please use external speakers rather than your car's internal speakers.

Remember that throwing candy is prohibited during parades as a safety issue (children tend to then rush the floats). Handing out candy is permitted, however.

Your float will be judged and winners will be announced to the media. Staging begins at 5 pm and the parade starts at 6 pm.
