This year’s event, “Black Girls Don’t Wear Red Lipstick,” curated by @shecollectsart & @heir_less featuring the groundbreaking photography of @letakphotography, the first black woman photographer to grace the Austin Public Library gallery walls.
Join us for an evening that celebrates us, challenges stereotypes, and showcases the spirit of the Austin Black Community. Organized in collaboration with the @austinpubliclibrary, @libraryfoundationatx, and @austintexasgov, this unique gathering promises inspiration, community, and an ode to Blackness.
