LGBTQ+ Cocktail Bar, Red Light Celebrates its First Birthday with Exclusive Party in Association with the Flash from the famous Pikes, Ibiza.

After a booming first year of service on Little David Street, Red Light is welcoming regulars and newcomers alike for a first birthday party on Saturday 1st June to celebrate their successful debut year at Kampus.

Taking over for a street party, guests can expect expertly crafted Red Light cocktails in an inclusive and carefree atmosphere. Tunes will be provided by Guy Williams, founder of ‘Flash’, a concept event part-inspired by the infamous Manchester gay party Flesh, where Williams DJ’d at in the mid-nineties. This event will be in association with Pikes Ibiza, an institution dating back to 1980 and the home of Flash.

Pikes is a boutique hotel on the Balearic island famous for its inclusive nightlife and rich cultural history. Immediately recognisable as the place where Wham filmed their ‘Club Tropicana’ music video, it now houses an on location nightclub named after their former most famous, regular guest, the late Freddie Mercury. The Flash strap line ‘Everyone is welcome gay straight, don’t know, don’t care’ makes for an iconic collaboration amongst the LGBTQ+ Community, and a fitting partnership that aligns with the ethos of Red Light.

The first birthday street party on the 1st June will be a ticketed event, and the last entry will be at 5pm, so attendees are recommended to visit earlier.
