The Brisbane Gothic and Alternative Picnic 2024

Start planning those outfits for the next gothic and alternative picnic has been announced....and what a big one this will be for 13 years running!!!!

The picnics are open to the alternative communities and those who are allies.

The picnics are family orientated - drug free and trouble free! 

We have a Zero tolerance for bullying, bigotry and hate speech.

Details:

Date: Saturday June 15th, 2024

Time: 11:30 - 4:00 pm

Location: New Farm Park
Brisbane, Queensland 

There will be disability access as well. Thst is wheel chair friendly and pram accessible.

The picnic is FREE to attend.

We have our official photographers for the day but we also encourage you to bring your own camera to help capture the days moments. Please be respectful towards others and ask to take photos.

*All picnics are registered with the Queensland police.

**As Covid is still a thing we need to do things a little differently this year so here’s the go on how we are going to be covid safe. 

1) If you are unwell or have covid stay home.

2) We must keep a register for attendance, so make sure you sign in and get a wrist band.

3) Sadly we cannot share food/drinks this time. Please bring lunch for yourself and/or your “bubble” only.

4)No weapons! includes nerf guns, larp weapons, fake weapons or other weapons. This is not the time or place for them.

Please be aware that the picnic may be cancelled at a moments notice should restrictions be added. Our first priority is the health and safety of our community.
