Whether it was his teenage ‘star turn’ with alt rock legends Thrush Hermit, his defining years fronting the vastly exciting Emergency, or the many daring solo releases he’s released, for going on 30 years, Joel Plaskett has been forging a name for himself as one of Canada’s most respected, and prolific song writers. To say we’re proud to announce his name as the first act to launch our Cold Snap Music Series is certainly an understatement.

It is also a first for us, where we will be using an alternate location as our venue. We hope you join us February 26^th, at The Charlotte Street Arts Centre for a special evening of music. You won’t find a more intimate live setting for an act like Joel. Jason Anderson will be doing an opening set to start the evening.
