Wo•man in Motion New Works

New Works is the New York inaugural performance for Wo•man in Motion. This evening of dance will feature premiere works by Nicholas Cunningham, Lisa Harvie, Laura Kaufman, Claire van Bever, Selina Chau, Danielle Diniz, and Katie Drablos.

Wo•man in Motion, a multifaceted dance company with both jazz and balletic elements, aims to bridge the gap between the concert dance and musical theater worlds. The company strives to incorporate various dance styles to match the well-rounded nature of its dancers.

With an abundance of art derailed during the pandemic, their company, Wo•man in Motion welcomes the responsibility to aid in the replenishment of the diminished artistic content. We strive to counteract this expanding void in society, and give opportunities to the underutilized artistic talent of New York City.
