Our beta API has launched
We have just launched the first version of our API so that you can start to integrate Ticket Tailor with your favourite applications.
We have just launched the first version of our API so that you can start to integrate Ticket Tailor with your favourite applications. The API allows you to programatically retrieve data from your Ticket Tailor box office with the following objects:
- Events that you have created
- Orders that have taken place
- Issued tickets that have been issued to attendees for your events
Some example use-cases are:
- Keep the “what’s on” section of your website automatically up to date with the events you have on sale on Ticket Tailor.
- Pull order data from Ticket Tailor to your CRM. (Webhooks coming soon, which will make this even easier).
- Pull issued ticket data and write a script to create name badges.
These are just a few of the things you could do and there are many more possibilities. To get started, log in to your dashboard and click on ‘Settings’ and then ‘API’. Here you will be able to create API keys which will give you access to the API. Then head over to our developer docs for detailed guidance on how it works.
Upcoming plans
Here’s a sneak preview of our roadmap for the API:
- Webhooks that fire when objects are created or updated
- Ability to update and create objects
- Ability to manage more objects such as discount codes and voucher codes
