Take iDeal payments for online tickets via Stripe!

If you’re selling tickets in the Netherlands, you’ll soon want to let your attendees pay via iDeal. Ticket Tailor now offers this payment option, via our Stripe integration. 

As more businesses move and transact online, we're continuously expanding our platform to help our customers to sell more tickets online. That's why we're excited to launch iDeal payments, powered by Stripe, to help you facilitate more online payments simply and securely.

iDeal is a payment method built on Stripe’s seamless payments infrastructure that allows you to manage the processing of your payment entirely within Ticket Tailor.

Adding iDeal gives an even wider choice of payment options to your customers, adding to our existing Apple pay and visa checkout. We hope this helps you to sell even more tickets online!

About iDeal:

iDEAL is a Netherlands-based payment method that allows customers to complete transactions online using their bank credentials. All major Dutch banks are members of Currence, the scheme that operates iDEAL, making it the most popular online payment method in the Netherlands with a share of online transactions close to 55%.

iDEAL redirects customers to their online banking environment to authenticate a payment using a second factor of authentication and there is an immediate notification about the success or failure of a payment. The exact customer experience depends on their bank.

Accepting iDEAL payments can also save you money - check out the lower processing fees available.

To use our improved payment options on your checkout, you will need to:

1. Set up or Enable Stripe as your payment processor for your event.

2. Set your event currency to Euros (EUR).

3. Check that iDeal is turned on in your Stripe account settings.
