What is the better business Summit?

The Better Business Summit (BBS) is the third annual flagship conference by the Better Business Network taking place Wednesday 15th - Friday 17th January 2025.  

It brings together hundreds of purpose-driven individuals, change-makers, and innovators, inspiring them and their businesses to take action.

Two days are at Manchester Met University discussing innovative new ideas and approaches and discussing how we can create systemic change through collective action, education and support across four lecture halls, networking sessions and exhibition spaces. 

The third day will take attendees into Nature to reflect and connect with each other and the world we are working on making better. 

Hannah Cox, founder of the Summit, said: “The Summit is more than a conference— it’s a call to action. It’s about inspiring businesses and individuals to take ownership of their impact and commit to building a sustainable, equitable future.

What's new in 2025?

The theme for the Better Business summit 2025 is Future Proof and the question being asked is “What does your business need to truly be future proof?”

A diverse range of subjects fit into the main theme of 2025, but they'll be a particular emphasis on Food, Fashion and the Future of Business. Hear from incredible experts from organisations and brands at the forefront of impact, including names like TOMS, Earth Law Centre, Nudie Jeans, allplants, 1% for the Planet, Swizzels, Re-Action Collective and so many more!

This year panels are banished, and instead there'll be a focus on key notes, catalyst conversations and in depth workshops. They'll also be film screenings and Q&A’s across the event and of course a catered plant based lunch, invitation to the evening networking events and after party all included in the ticket price!

What happened at the Better Business Summit 2024

Like the first summit, BBS24 also sold out! They hosted an event which inspired businesses to take actions, and in fact our very own CEO and Founder Jonny took to the stage to share the Ticket Tailor journey. (Watch the recap below!)

Last year their were also talks by Co-op Live, Patagonia, Too Good To Go and Tony’s Chocolonely to name a few. They event had an hour long action hour which involved every delegate, speaker sponsor coming together to write a letter to their local MP. 

On the final day attendees were invited to spend a day in nature either going on a freshwalks hike, or visiting a local community garden. 

100% of Attendees found the Better Business Summit value for money. With attendees favourite parts of the Summit being the collective action opportunities, networking and “Feeling a part of the BBN Community. This was reiterated by hundreds of attendees who posted about us across their socials. And this quote from one delegate sums up BBS24:
